2014 Wedding Collection | Photographer Favorites
Well the 2014 wedding season has come and gone, it’s “in the bag” as they say. It was a year filled with capturing wonderful moments that reflect the happiness, excitement and love in the lives of our clients. We started the season with a lovely, first ever outside wedding on the patio of the new PearTree Estate wedding facility in Champaign and ended the season here in town at the local Bloomington Country Club. Along the way we experienced stunning fall sunsets, verklempt fathers, grooms so excited that you thought they were going to jump right out of their skin, weeping mothers, pouring rain, heat and cold, bridesmaids doubled over in laughter, groomsmen so crazy that the word crazy does not describe them, sisterly love, flower girls that were beyond cute, giggling grandmothers, family love, stoic fathers, tears, laughter and more laughter! Then we had chapel weddings, mansion weddings, clear tents, Sunken Garden weddings, hotel ballroom receptions, alumni center weddings, country club weddings. We saw, super heroes, comic book characters, a feline mascot with a bowtie, six layer wedding cake, a ceremony exit to the song Yakety Sax, a spiral staircase, Cathedral veils, mushrooms in the bridal bouquet, Converse tennis shoes, bag piper, balloons, bubbles, vibrant bouquets, colorful saries and of course beautiful brides. It was a wonderful year and we thank all of our clients for having us be there to capture all the excitement, happiness and love of their big day. We wish all of you the very best!
I also want to give a huge shout out to my ever trusty assistant Hannah who continues to get better with each and every wedding. I couldn’t ask for more.
We are excited to see what 2015 will will bring, we already know we have some really unique and interesting weddings to capture this year. So keep tuned we should have wonderful moments to share with you as the year progresses.
Below are just a few of our favorite moments, some from each wedding. If you mouse over each photo and click on them you will be taken to the full wedding.
