Effingham Wedding Photographer Firefly Grill
For this summer-time wedding, Mark and I headed to Effingham! Garrett and Claire married at the beautiful St Anthony Catholic Church with a reception that followed at a foodie’s paradise, the Firefly Grill.
The day began with a burst of excitement from Claire and her bridesmaids. For Claire’s “something old,” she wore her grandmother’s ring, who recently passed away. It was a bittersweet moment as Claire’s mother slipped the ring on her daughter’s finger. The preparations and anticipation continued as Claire and her father shared a touching first look moment right outside the church as her faithful bridesmaids watched.
Before the reception officially began, we walked the grounds with our newlyweds to capture a few intimate moments. It was such a pleasure photographing the interactions of this big, happy family. One of my favorite parts of the day is photographing the cocktail hour where the guests are just having a good time. Shortly after a wonderful dinner the party got started with a live band proving the dance music.
