The Chateau Ceremony and Reception, Bloomington, IL
Megan and Aaron planned their wedding at The Chateau with autumn in mind! Indeed, it was the quintessential fall day: bright and sunny accompanied by an invigorating breeze. Megan and the girls were beaming with smiles as the bride stepped into her stunning gown. Certainly a day filled with laughter and happiness! While Megan was getting into her gown Mark was outside working with Aaron and his buddies getting Aaron’s wedding day portraits done. Next it was time for the bride to get her wedding portraits done. So the groom was locked in a room far enough away to be sure that he could not see his beautiful bride to be during her portrait session. As always the day moved along quickly and before we knew it the ceremony start time was upon us. Having both the ceremony and reception all at the same location certainly makes the logistics easier for everyone involved. No doubt a highlight of the day were the two most adorable flower girls, sisters to each other. Giggling, inquisitive and full of animated expressions! Adam Jamsa officiated the brief ceremony. After the ceremony family and guests shared in some wonderful h’orderves while the room was being set up for the reception. In turn, we used this time to complete family photos and spend some time with the bride and groom doing wedding portraits of them at The Chateau. The rest of the evening was spent enjoying dinner and dancing. What a wonderful fun filled day! Congrats to Megan and Aaron, we wish you many years of happiness!
A big thanks must go out to Lisa Regan of Happliy Ever After for keeping everything on time and running smoothly.
